Mission:
The mission Paws Animal Rescue Center of Montebello is to find permanent and suitable homes for animals in need, provide interim humane care for those animals and to promote the humane treatment of all animals. To prove this mission PARCM will adopt a “no kill” policy to all animals admitted to the shelter. The center’s extended mission includes organizing educational classes for children and adults, providing the community with volunteer opportunities and interaction with pets, and addressing animal-related problems in the community.
Homeless dogs and cats are dying by the hundreds in and around the city of Montebello. Overcrowded county shelters take thousands of unwanted dogs and cats, and euthanize nearly half of them. Many of those animals are killed because there is no place to keep them and not enough people coming forward to give them new homes. Pet owners are suffering and pets are suffering; Paws Rescue Center of Montebello will not fall under this shameful statistic due to our “No Kill” policy. For pet owners that lost their pet PRCM will dedicate to promote every animal we have online and throughout the public so the animal could be home with its owner as soon as possible.
